[Opinions] Re: Rhys and Rowan
in reply to a message by MoCro
Rhys and Rowan go together well. They're a different style than Heidi, but they still go together decently. I like all three names.Owen and Rowan are very close. I definitely wouldn't recommend them as first names for siblings, but if one is a middle name and the other is a first name, it's much less of a problem. I know of a couple of families with siblings that have the same middle name. I don't see it as a big deal even though it's not something I would do myself.

I agree :)Heidi sounds fine with Rhys and Rowan (and theres no reason why siblings have to match anyway)As long as you don't call him Owen, I don't see a problem with it. Not something I would do, but as one is a fn and one a mn then you can get away with it.I love Rowan on a boy. Thumbs up.

Thank you! I never even realized Rowan was used as a feminine name until this afternoon. I don't think I've ever heard it on a girl. He's never called Owen, and only rarely is he called Rhys Owen (think: Pulling Everything Out of the Pantry-type situations.)
