[Opinions] Julian?
Could Julian work as a female middle name? I would use it after Julian of Norwich, a medieval nun whose writings I greatly admire, but I'm not quite ready to kick it into the first name spot, because I am pretty big on standard gender naming.I've thought about Esther Julian, because I love Esther and lately I had been pairing it up as Mary Esther, which I like, but there's so much easy potential for Mary combos that I'm not sad to trade off the combo at all.Thoughts? Combo ideas?

Hm, I wouldn't use Julian on a girl in either spot, but it's not terrible. Would you consider Julianne or Juliana to "feminize" Julian a bit? Or Julia? Esther Julian is okay.

I've really tried to like the feminized versions, haha, but they just don't quite cut it for me. Thank you for the opinion though.

Thanks!Ava Julian is stunning. I also like Cecily Julian, Lydia Julian (my second Mary combo was Lydia Mary, so I can switch back to Mary Esther and go with Lydia Julian maybe :D ), Ella Julian, and Caroline Julian.

I think Julian would be a splendid mm, especially
Paired with Esther, though myself would push it to
Fn! It's a beautiful name and deserves credit
On both sides. If u just love the feeling of the name
Try moving it to first and just adding an A pronounced like
Juliahna?
I also like, for it as a mn, anything
Ending in an a, other vowel or y, like:
Alecia Julian
Myra Julian
Nova Julian
Verity Julian Ps, I would try to get out of the Mary comfort zone.
I would try for a different go to name with a
Similar sound, like Karrey or Avery?(which would both be good with Julian ;)Hope that helps :)

Thanks! I'm glad to hear you like it. Nova Julian is gorgeous, and I like Verity Julian as well.Mary isn't for sound reasons so much as for personal ones, but thanks for the recommendations :)
