[Opinions] Una
I've really, really been liking this name lately. I love the look and feel of it. What do you guys think?

I like it. I first heard it in a book (well, actually Oona) as the name of a mermaid, so it reminds me of mermaids slightly. It's also short and simple, which is always nice. It makes me think of a small girl of about seven with black hair and large bluish eyes, a bit shy and probably has a hobby like drawing pictures of fairies. :)
I like it, it has a pretty sound and a sophisticated feel. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I heard it in real life. It might be one of those names I wouldn't like as much when I actually heard it. But maybe it's the opposite, I dunno! It makes me think of Stardust.
I love Una! It's spare and stark yet deeply expressive.
It's ok. No problems with it. It is a character name in l.m. Montgomery's Rainbow Valley, a shy wispy girl so that's what comes to my mind. I don't think the uno is going to be an issue, even if around many Spanish speakers.
Not as much of a fan. Something is missing to me.
I'm not a fan, it's a bit too short for my tastes visually, and though I dislike double Os I find myself preferring the spelling Oona to Una. But it's certainly not a bad name and I think it's an interesting contrast to some of the more popular names (like my own) without being that difficult.
I prefer the Oona spelling, just because Una reminds me of the card game Uno.
Having studied Span., Una makes me think of the fem. form of the indefinite article even though the name itself is not Span... How easy it would be to live w/ would depend where the child grows up.
I prefer Oona to Una...but both sound sweet. I wouldn't use them just because there are so many names that I like a lot better but I'd love to see it used by someone else.
I think it's pretty, but I like the double-O Oona better-it's just a little more quirky. :)
i agree with Bear ;)
