What are your favorite nicknames for Alexandria?What would you use as a middle name? Maybe something old and uncommon or exotic sounding?

Alex and Sandy. I would say Sandra, but I don't think it works for Alexandria. I hate Lexie (any spelling) because it sounds like "sexy."
I'd use a super namey name as the middle name, because otherwise I think it starts to sound phrasey since Alexandria is a place name.

Lexy/Lexa. I've never been a huge fan of the Ally/Alex string of NNs.As for a MN I would go with something a bit shorter because Alexandria has so many syllables, but that still sounds a bit unexpected. Something like:

I've always loved Alex as a nickname for a girl. Andy would work too. I don't like the froofy ones like Lexi or Alexa.For a middle name I'd pair it with something traditional to play up the strong historical feel of it. That's what I like about it in the first place!

My favorites nicknames are Alex, Sandy, or anything that's not Lexi. Compared to Alexandra, I find Alexandria awkward and sort of craggy, so I prefer a softer, simpler middle name. Alexandria Camille

Alex is my favorite for Alexandra, Alexandria, Alexa, etc. I love Alex on a girl.Runners-up: Allie/Ally, Lex (but not Lexie), Zanne/Xan, Zandra/Xandra.
