One of my college friends recently had twins, a boy and a girl. Their names are Reid Carson and Charlotte Ryan. I'm the biggest name of the double surname for Reid but I quite like Charlotte. Is Ryan unisex because I've only ever heard it on guys? Then again it's only a middle name. What do you think of these twins?

Ryan seems to be turning unisex, but I wouldn't use it on a girl unless it was a family last name. Reid and Charlotte seem to fit well as a sibset. Not bad.

I love Reid. Charlotte is on the bland side, but I like it more than I used to.

I dislike Ryan for a girl even as a middle name. If it's a family surname, it would make more sense, but otherwise, I don't see why someone would want to give a girl the middle name Ryan.

Reid and Charlotte go together decently.

I love them both! Not a fan of either MN though, they just both make the FNs sound so trendy. As for Ryan, it is slowly moving into the unisex camp unfortunately. I have met more than a few little Ryan/Ryann/Rhians who were female. :(

My best friend's name is Rian (pronounced "Ryan") and she gets compliments on her name all of the time. Plus, no one ever forgets her name, which is nice.
