[Opinions] Arnneater
A name I saw on Undercover Boss was a woman called Arnneater. It kind of sounds like Anita, but not quite. Have you ever seen a name like this which was kind of like another name but not quite? On the same show, Efrain :)

Ooh, I like Efrain. Not as much as Ephraim, but still thumbs up on that one. Arnneater is fugly. I'd hate to have "eater" as part of my name. Also, my brain won't stop trying to take the name apart and make sense of it. It's not anteater, so is it something that eats...arnns? Or neatens arns? What is it? What does it mean? Make it stop!I was once helped by a woman whose nametag said Ellener. So close to Eleanor, yet so far.

Arnneater looks like a mistake with the closed captioning system.I used to always think that, when I saw Vachel Lindsay's name in a schoolbook, it was a mistake and it must be Rachel. I was nearly out of high school before I found out for sure Vachel was right.

It definitely wasn't a mistake - it was on the programme, like a subtitle, rather than closed captioning. Part of the show, rather than just me turning on the subtitles.

Then it sounds like something that eats arnns. Which are...
Something nobody wants to eat?

no love for this one. it's odd and unattractive. the spelling is another huge turn off "eater".

I agree, I thought it looked like Anteater!
