A name I saw on Undercover Boss was a woman called Arnneater. It kind of sounds like Anita, but not quite. Have you ever seen a name like this which was kind of like another name but not quite?

Ooh, I like Efrain. Not as much as Ephraim, but still thumbs up on that one.
Arnneater is fugly. I'd hate to have "eater" as part of my name. Also, my brain won't stop trying to take the name apart and make sense of it. It's not anteater, so is it something that eats...arnns? Or neatens arns? What is it? What does it mean? Make it stop!
I was once helped by a woman whose nametag said Ellener. So close to Eleanor, yet so far.

It definitely wasn't a mistake - it was on the programme, like a subtitle, rather than closed captioning. Part of the show, rather than just me turning on the subtitles.

no love for this one. it's odd and unattractive. the spelling is another huge turn off "eater".
