[Opinions] Felix
What do you think of Felix? I really like it as a middle name, especially for the meaning but also the sound.

I love Felix both for the meaning and the sound.

I know a Felix from Mexico, but the cat from cartoons is much stronger in my mind. I prefer it on a cat, but there's nothing wrong with it for a person either.

Felix makes a good middle name, not so much a good name first name for the cat connotations.

DH and I both love it and DH would love to use it in the future should we have another DS.

I used to think it was yech. It's a cat food, it sounds like feel licks, there's something vaguely... ferrety about it, etc etc.
Now I know an adorable toddler with the name and predictably, it's sounding a whole lot better.
eta And yeah, great meaning to give a child.

I think its cool. Its been growing on me a lot lately. I haven't put it on my list yet, but I think it would end up on there soon.

Love, love, love, love Felix! I think the meaning is awesome. The sound is awesome. It has a spunky "x".My mental image of a Felix (since I never really had anything to do with Felix the cat) is great. I've never met a Felix that I really remember so I don't even have a bad association of one.I would use Felix as a first name because I love it so.

I absolutely love it. It's the name of my favourite hockey player of all time (besides my dad). And I can guarantee you that he was one tough cookie! He beat the fudge out of one of the NHL's notorious fighters (which was surprising because Felix Potvin wasn't known as a fighter, but it was AWESOME because Hextall was... an unpleasant player).

Love.
One of my middle names are Felicia, which I hate, but I adore Felix. It's perfection.

It's a good name for a cat. On a person it sounds kind of wimpy and sneaky at the same time.
