Leo and Evie are both settling in great at their new school. Leo had a bit of a hard time adjusting but he's made a lot of friends now and is very settled. Evie especially gets on with everyone in the class. She's so open and very confident so she finds it easy to make new friends and to be friendly to everyone. Leo finds this a bit harder and we suspect that he finds it hard to be assertive when he is around Evie so we decided not to have them in the same class. Leo took this surprisingly well but Evie had her worst tantrum to date! They love to spend their time together after school. They both love swimming lessons and though Leo still has to use armbands, whilst Evie can swim they are in the same class. They also do a lot of 'art' together. They love nothing better than good-old finger painting! Gunnar doesn't really play with the twins too much. He's far too 'cool' for that but he's a great big brother really and looks out for them in the playground.
Gunnar is doing amazingly well in school, better than any of us could ever of imagined. He recently brought us home his report card and its praise was so glowing that we decided to let Gunnar have a puppy. He's named her Royal and she's the most adorable little thing ever! He's also taken up horseriding. He seems to of taken to it and his instructor says he's doing great and he gets to ride in competitions at the weekend. Our house is rapidly filling up with trophies and rosets!

While Matt is outgoing and comes home with the news of new friends every day, Jasmine is a little shy and it has taken some effort for her to make friends. However, her new best friend, Elle, seems to be attatched at the hip with her! Luke, eight, has started hockey. He seems to love it, and is pretty good for his age! He brought home his report card- it was a pleasure to read, although he does need to focus more on his multiplication facts. Now that spring break is here, we've decided to take a family trip to Disney World. We'll stay for four days in Disney and then take a trip to see Jon's parents who live about an hour away, and stay there for three days. It'll be great!

Charlotte's best friends are Eliza & George. Edward has started to learn the clarinet and acoustic guitar, while Charlotte is doing Clarinet and saxaphone. Edward loves gymnastics, ballet and painting. While Charlotte loves drawing, making clothes and ballet. They get along with Remington surprisingly well.
Remington just brought home his report card and got all outstandings! His teacher said that he topped the class in almost everything. We are so proud of Remington that we decided to buy him a puppy called Cuan. Remington is delighted and wants to do better in school.
Remington also has started playing soccer, he started off a bit shakey but his friend LUcien came over and showed him some tips and he scored his first goal this week!
We are going on a family trip to Hawaii. Its thanks to Edward really. When Kalani came over i was talking to his father Keoni about how we were going to go to Hawaii over the break, Keoni insisted that we all come and stay in his mansion on the beach. It has seven bedrooms and a pool, and best of all is right on the beach. He has five children so the kids can amuse themselves while we can relax!

Alfie and Mia recently started at nursery and they love it!They both have the same friends, Matthew, Luke, Ben, Clio and Millie. They are doing really weel and their painting is improving, it's not just a big splodge anymore! We've already had Clio and Ben round to the house and Millie's coming next week. They like playing ball and painting. Mia and Alfie play together at home aswell and sometimes Shay joins in and they don't mind. They all play nicely and Shay looks after the twins. Shay had a good report last week so I treated him to a new train for his collection. He only usually gets them for his birthday or christmas!He plays rugby and tennis now and he's getting really good at them both, I am very proud. Owen has planned to take me and the kids to Disneyland Paris for a week and to the theme park and everything. It's a surprise for the kids and they have no idea!

We recently found out that I am expecting another child! We did find out the gender of this one ahead of time because, with the other children, we thought it might be easier for them to adjust to a sibling if they knew its gender, not to mention it was nice to know if I could give away some of Ian and Owen's old clothes to my sister's baby boy! Evie and Owen were both very excited to start kindergarten this year because they had hear so much about Ian's school. They both really like kindergarten, though I think they sometimes get bored because Ian tries to teach them what he learns in the third grade. They both also participate in theo town sports club, where they get to try out different sports once each week. Evie also does ballet and Owen plays youth soccer. Owen tries to be like Ian, who also plays soccer, but it often results in them having big fights. Ian and Evie, however, get along very well, and of course the twins are very close. Owen is doing very well in the third grade, in fact he is often bored during class, which leads to some not-so-glowing comments on his report card. Xavier and I had to speak to him about how it was important to be respectful in class even if he doesn't need to listen. In addition, he joined the trvel soccer team for the town this year for the first time. He has lots of energy, but doesn't have very good ball-handling skills yet. On the upsida, April break is coming up for the kids and we are considering a trip to the American Southwest for about a week.

It's been 5 years. The twins are 5 years old and have recently started kindergarten and are doing brilliantly. They tend to stick together alot and adore finger painting and story time; aswell as arguing with Everett.
Everett is now 8 and in the 3rd grade. He just brought home his resport card. He didn't do too well he seems to have problems concentrating, but has started playing basketball and shows a real flair for it.
Me and William have been planning a family trip now that spring break is almost here. We plan to go to Egypt and will stay for a fortnight.

Millie and Dylan recently started kindergarten, they are both loving it now. At first they had a bit of separation anxiety (from each other, as they had never been separated, and got put into different classes, but this has really benefited them). They are getting on very well with the other kids.
Millie loves dancing, gymnastics and ice skating, while Dylan takes after his father and is into all sorts of sports! They get along very well with Lachlan, whom is very protective of the twins.
Lachlan is now in year 3. His report card home the other day, with very pleasing results. We told him how proud we were, but he wasn't given any other reward, as Logan and I want Lachlan to achieve well for the right reasons.
As does Dylan, Lachlan plays a variety of sports, including football, baseball, soccer, does swimming and basketball. He has a natural sporting ability and exceeds in all.
For this spring holiday, we are thinking about going back to the States so the kids can visit Logan's family. We would also like to take them to Disneyland, now they are old enough to enjoy it (and leave Bridget with Logan's parents). We plan to stay about 4 weeks.

Lachlan is now in year 3. His report card home the other day, with very pleasing results. We told him how proud we were, but he wasn't given any other reward, as Logan and I want Lachlan to achieve well for the right reasons.
As does Dylan, Lachlan plays a variety of sports, including football, baseball, soccer, does swimming and basketball. He has a natural sporting ability and exceeds in all.
For this spring holiday, we are thinking about going back to the States so the kids can visit Logan's family. We would also like to take them to Disneyland, now they are old enough to enjoy it (and leave Bridget with Logan's parents). We plan to stay about 4 weeks.

That's funny, I did mine before I read everyone else's, and it looks like almost everyone's family is going to either Disneyland or Disney World!

After five years, Charlie and I were beginning to think our family was complete. As it turned out, we're actually expecting again! It's another boy, whom we plan to name Tristan. Lachlan and Jack are absolutely thrilled to be getting a little brother; Emma, not so much.
Jack and Emma have recently started going to kindergarten at the same school Lachlan attends. At first, they were pretty hesitant, but they quickly opened up and now love hanging out with the other children. Their teacher says that they're both doing exceptionally well. Jack loves building things and plays with the blocks almost all day. Emma has an eye for drawing and is rarely seen without a crayon in her hand.

He acts annoyed sometimes that they follow him and his friends around, but I know he secretly likes being looked up to. Lachlan has also recently taken up playing soccer. He's really rather good and is one of his team's starting forwards. Unfortunately, his grades have been slipping (he just brought home his report card; he's doing fine in gym class but barely got by with C plusses in all his other subjects). Charlie and I really want him to do better in school, so we gave him an ultimatum: either he pull his grades back up to a B average, or he stops playing soccer. It's a bit harsh, but so far nothing else has worked.

After five years, Wil and I were surprised to find that I was pregnant with our fourth child. We welcomed Dylan Hector into the family just over three months ago. He is an adorable little baby who looks just like his daddy. The other kids are thrilled.
