I think of ardent - medieval bodice-ripper characters are "ardent" - sounds vaguely sexual. And the cosmetics & perfume. Together those make it seem too lipsticked-up to me. If just one of those associations disappeared I might like it okay. It sounds place-namey (Ardennes?).
