I don't think Susan will make a comeback. Susanna/Susannah maybe, but Susan is very dated. I haven't noticed Susie becoming a popular name or nickname but it wouldn't surprise me if it became trendy again. It has that cutesy quality that many parents seem to like nowadays (Lily, Sophie, Maddie etc.).

I don't really like any "Sue" names. I'd say Susie is my favourite, or even just Sue. I don't care for the others at all.
