Agnes has really grown on me. I used to hate it, but now I think it sounds soft and has a nice medieval feel. I still don't care for Aggie at all, though. I guess Nessie could work which I prefer but I like it better in its full form.
I really like Agnes Emily right now as well as Agnes Emmeline and Agnes Eve.

Yes, it's the medieval feeling of Agnes that draws me in. That, and the fact that Agnes is so refreshingly unfrilly. My favorite form is Inez which, admittedly, has a completely different feeling than Agnes. Nessa / Nessie is an adorable nn for Agnes.
