[Facts] Memnon / Agamemnon & Menes
If Agamemnon is possibly "very steadfast", am I then right in assuming Memnon on its own possibly means "steadfast" (since aga means "very")? If not, what does Memnon means then?I was also wondering why it's possibly "very steadfast". What is uncertain about the meaning? Also, about the a comment on the name Menes:Since 'men' in Ancient Egyptian can mean "established", Menes could mean roughly 'He who is established/He who establishes'. An apt name for the first pharaoh of a unified Egypt.Does this have any merit? Could it means something like this, or is that unlikely? Are there other possible meanings?
