Bruno is okay. It catches my interest, but I don't really like or dislike it. Poor Bruno still sounds a bit like the not-too-bright Italian-American heavy from a 70s cop show loaded with stereotypes, and that's unfortunate. I'd love to meet a Bruno.
It's hard for me to hear Bruno without thinking "brown," so it's not a name I would pick if I were creating a big list of ginger names. That said, it doesn't strike me as odd to see it on a ginger cat. I'm sure the same would be true if I saw it on a redheaded person, too.
He would have been a good Cosmo, but Bruno/Bru suits him. He's a cutey. I love that "I can't believe I have to put up with these stupid humans" look on his face.
