Branwen
Guinevere
FreyaAny names I should get rid of? Suggestions of others?

Usability always depends on the name in question. Jennifer is a form of Guinevere, and was used millions of times. I've heard that Freya is common in England. I've met 2 girls named Athena, one nn Tina and a Branwen. Hermione is in mythology, not just modern kid's lit. Nephthys looks like a mouthful, and Ixchel looks like an indigenous Mexican name. The others could be used.

I would love to see Athena used on a real child. I see it mentioned a lot by mythology lovers, but I've never heard of it actually being used. Artemis is beautiful but nowadays it's too caught up with Artemis Fowl. Maybe the association could be overcome: I don't know.Freya is upcoming and trendy in some places.Branwen is easily usable.Guinevere is a bit trickier. Sounds very high and mighty and untouchable.I'm unfamiliar with Nephthys and Ixchel, so my first reaction is "they are strange and too mythological-sounding"

There's quite a few that I like: Calliope, Callisto, Cassandra, Diana, Iris, Io, Juno, Minerva . . . there's plenty more, but I'm too tired to think of them at the moment!I like Athena, Artemis, Branwen, and Freya from you list, and I think they're perfectly usable. In fact, if I'm not mistaken Freya is very hot in Britain right now. Or it was at least.
