[Opinions] Victoria

I love Victoria. It is sophisticated and regal and my first choice for a strong but feminine name. I don't like the nicknames Vicky and Tory. Ick! V is interesting and still feels strong and sophisticated.
I personally would only use it as a middle name but it is a lovely name.
I would pick Victoria out of the three.

Victoria's a nice name, very regal but youthful at the same time. I reckon it would suit any type of person. I go through phases when I like it. V is a cool nickname, but my favourites would be Tora and Vicki. I think that even if you don't encourage nicknames, other children would call a Victoria Vicki/Vicky/Vickie, because it comes so naturally.
I definitely choose Astrid - one of my favourites!

Victoria is my daughter's middle name. As a name I like it very much, however she was named for her paternal grandmother. My mother-in-law, of course, but I never knew her, she died young.
As it's a middle name we've never abbreviated it.

Victoria is one of my faves. It's my second dd's name although she goes by her mn for the most part. Still, she has been called Victoria plenty of times -- sometimes at her insistence (especially at work). Had we called her Victoria, I doubt we would have gone with Vickie or Tori. I do like Toria or even Tora. Vita is cute as well.
I much prefer Victoria to Erica and then Astrid.

I'm having a hard time choosing between Victoria and Astrid. Victoria is soooo solid and respectable, and I think anyone would be happy to be named it. Astrid has an offbeat, quirky feel that is almost equally good, in a very different way.
Ah, maybe I would go with Victoria.
I agree with another poster who mentioned that a vagina often is called a V, though.
Erica/Erika is nice too. I like all your choices.
