[Opinions] Otto
Can you see Otto getting trendy? It is a family name for me but I never cared much for it until recently. I actually can see it getting kind of trendy with Milo and similar names getting more common. What do you think of Otto?
My favorite combo right now is Henry Otto James. Otto and James are honoring. What do you think?

I think of the stoner bus driver from The Simpsons! I don't know if it will get popular, but I would be surprised if it did. While Milo sounds quite cute and young, I think Otto sounds old fashioned - I imagine an old German man!
I also really dislike the way it sounds in an American accent (well, many American accents, I suppose, maybe not all of them) like "aah-do" rather than "OT-o"

Otto was my cat's name when I was a teenager. I wish I hadn't chosen it because now if I suggest Otto for a child, my husband will surely say "After your cat?". I really like the name Otto but I don't think it will get above #500 anytime soon, maybe in thirty years...

I don't see this name ever cracking into the top 500 honestly. I think it would be a cute name for a cat or a small dog.

Henry Otto James is quite handsome. I don't see Otto getting super popular though, but I could be wrong.

I like Otto. I'm not sure if it will actually become trendy or not. Otto entered the top 1,000 in the U.S. last year. It ranked #928. I don't see it getting extremely popular, but it wouldn't surprise me if it gets more popular than it currently is.Henry Otto James is a handsome combo, and it has a great flow.

Old-school-cool is pretty in, so I think it could happen. My friend just had a baby last week and his name is Tobias Otto. I think Otto is honouring, though, since their other kids have honouring middle names. I don't mind Otto. It's one of those names I have a really hard time envisioning on a baby, but once you know one, that usually works itself out. I had that problem with Solomon too. But now I think it's pretty sweet.Henry Otto James flows very well. Personally, I'd probably pair Otto with some a little less old than Henry. It kinda makes the combo feel like it could just as easily be on the obituaries page as on the births - no offense. :)
