[Opinions] Paloma

I love Paloma. It's pretty.
Paloma is a beautiful, unexpected name.
I associate it strongly with Paloma Picasso, so to me it would seem slightly to be putting on an air of wealth, if it were used by someone who wasn't a Spanish speaker. Other than that, it's a decent name. I like the meaning, but I'm not a big fan of P names, the LOW sound, or the -oma ending which vaguely reminds me of the names of cancerous tumors. Only just thought of that now, though - wouldn't notice it on meeting a Paloma, unless there were something else to bring it to mind.
I love it. It seems really comfy, but without being fusty.
I quite like Paloma. It's very peaceful and just so nice to say.
I've never thought about this name before, I'm not too familiar with it to be honest. I've probably only heard the name a handful of times. There's something appealing about it but I can't figure out what. Maybe it's the second syllable 'o' and last syllable 'a' like one of my favourite names, Fiona. Although, while it's pretty and unique and even artsy sounding, there's something a little off about it. Unlike Fiona, which to me has a soft elegance to it, Paloma sounds a bit...harsh. Like if I had to associate it with a sound, it'd be a big thud. I can imagine a very loud, rude, obnoxious personality bearing this name. I guess I'm undecided! lol
I'm not British and I'm not aware of the singer Paloma Faith so obviously there's no association there for me.

gorgeous.
It hits all the right notes for me. Lush, feminine but not frilly, beautiful meaning, nickname options. Absolutely gorgeous.
And I'm not British, but a lot of my friends are, so we end up listening to Paloma Faith music quite a lot. And just as long as her full name isn't Paloma Faith surname, I think the connection isn't too strong.

I don't care for it. It sounds like the name of a city, but not in that charming place-name way. Plus, I think it's just ugly.
I wouldn't ever want to use it but it has a very pretty sound.
Just curious: why wouldn't you consider using it, if you think it's pretty?
it's only pretty...
I don't like it enough to want to use it, simple as that.
