Message: "Bran" - Behind the Name

Seeking opinions on the name Bran for a boy. I'm in America, where most people will disregard the BRAWN pronunciation, so we would probably pronounce it with the short A. Also, I'm really liking the combo Bran Isaac. Both family-honoring names. Let me know your honest opinions! Many thanks in advance.
