I was going to say it sounds like a dogs name, so it's great for a puppy! For a child, not so much...

Rafferty is totally brilliant! Raff-raff-raff! He'll learn his name in no time.

I was about to say I didn't like it, until I read it and realized it's for a puppy. It's cute for a dog! I think it goes well with Ambrose, too.

I don't like Rafferty at all, but if I had to give it to any kind of animal, I'd give it to a giraffe. That would be funny, call him Girafferty.
