I like it. I prefer Cara, but I like Kara as well. Kara reminds me of Klara, so I think that Kara seems more likely to be pronounced KAR-a rather than CARE-a, but I have heard Kara pronounced CARE-a frequently enough that I don't think that there would be many problems.
