It's not terrible but I think it's got an annoying sound because of all those s sounds jammed together. I feel the same about Cecilia which is much more popular. I'm guessing Cecily has never gotten popular because of its hissy, faintly baby-talkish sound, and also it has a posh feel to it, like a Victorian princess or something. Annabelle is a Victorian princess name, and Tessa has that babyish sound but they don't have both problems and so are more popular.
