I'm on a clunky name kick. Whatcha think of Bernadine?

I prefer Bernadette. But they could both be used as full names for one of the cutest nicknames EVER: Bernie.

I suppose a universe might exist somewhere in the infinite possible universes in which Bernie might be considered a cute nickname.

It doesn't sit right with me for some reason, I much prefer Bernadette which still has the clunky feel to it. :)

About equally as clunky as Bernice and Bernadette. Which is quite an achievement! Of the three, I prefer Bernadette, then Bernadine and finally poor little Bernice.

I think it's fine as a mn. As a first name I would choose (and probably actually use IRL) Bernadette.

I prefer Bernadette or Berenice - Bernadine is a little bit whiny and childish.

I also prefer Bernadette. I knew a Bernadine once. She unfortunately did not help win the name over for me. :-/

I think it's really unattractive and not at all feminine. Bernadette is marginally better but I think I only like that because of the character in the big bang theory.

Me too! I'm loving Bernadine, Celestine, Evangeline, Geraldine.

I love Bernadette, but Bernadine is pretty bad. It's amazing how the different ending completely changes the name.

I prefer Bernadette, but Bernadine would make an excellent middle name. It would stand out amongst the sea of Roses and Graces.
