[Opinions] Yvette
What do you think of the name Yvette? I'd probably use the nickname Yvie (EE-vee)It would honour my mum, aunt and best friend

Yvette is okay as a mn, but I'm not a big fan of ett names. Yvonne is much more elegant to me.

As I expect I've said before, I was almost named Yvonne, after my mother's childhood friend.
I would have been ok with Yvonne, though I'm happy with my own name.

Beautiful name, although I think I prefer Yvonne.

I don't like names starting with a Y and this one is definitely very dated imo. I don't like the nickname, either.

I like it, though not enough to use myself. Much nicer than Yvonne!

I love Yvette, although I have trouble picturing it on an English baby. Then, in the French world its almost retro to me. Basically, I love the sound of the name, but I'm not so sure about the associations.

I like it. The problem is finding a middle name to go with it.

Not a fan of it. It's not a bad name though. If it's honouring, I'd use it in the MN spot.

I actually like it. I like it better as a middle name than a first.
