[Opinions] Names easy to pronounce in both spanish & english?
My SO and I have been talking about our future kids' names recently, and although we've easily chosen most of the boys names, we have a lot of trouble with the girls names (and some of the middle names for boys). His family is from Mexico, so most of them speak only spanish, and my family is from Canada, so we speak mostly english and french. We need names that would be easily pronounced in both spanish and english, (or have english/spanish nicknames.) Here's what we've got so far.
Marko Thomas
Alejandro "Alex" Balthazar
Ezio (no middle name yet - this one is iffy on how to be pronounced in spanish, but SO really likes it)
Jose (middle name would be used as first name, since he'd be the 3rd.) Thanks in advance! :)

How familiar are your relatives with Spanish names? Or his with English names? That could help broaden the pool. My student Jorge is sometimes called George by his friends and siblings, so anything that can easily be translated would be good. I also have a bi-racial James nn Jaimito starting next year. His brother Nathan is Nathan in both. Their half-brother Kevin is just Kevin, no attempted translation. Their sister is Sashian, which is from neither. Carmen- I know 2 white Carmens, and no Hispanic ones
Bianca- another of my 'kids'
Jennifer- yes, they know this name well (3 students out of a dozen or so with this. Really? They don't know any others?)

I don't think anything with a "J" in it, really fits for both. I think Jose and Alejandro would not be the same thing for both families.
Marco / Marko would be very good. I quite like that as well, not so much with MN Thomas. Marko Balthazar would be awesome :D
Some female suggestions:
Alicia
Ariadna
Camila
Carmen (I think this would be a great name, since it definitely works in all 3 languages)
Cecilia
Elena
Elisa
Ester / Esther
Eva (also a very international name)
Fabiana / Fabia
Felicia
Iris
Isabela / Isabella
Leandra
Luciana
Magdalena / Lena
Ramona
Rosalina / Rosa
Selena
Teresa / Theresa
Some male suggestions:
Antonio / Toni / Tony

Daniel
Felix / Félix
Gabriel

MariaThey won't necessarily be pronounced exactly the same depending on which side of the family says it, but they are still both easily pronouncable and translatable.
