Wil and Bekah Thompson are still a busy couple. Wil is working full time as a corporate manager for a large national retail chain. Bekah works part-time as a case manager for a local hospital. In their free time, the two of them enjoy working outdoors in the garden and keeping up with their five children and twenty-three grandchildren. Because everyone lives mostly in the same area, get-togethers are frequent and boisterous.
Emma and Milo's four girls keep them very busy. Emma is a stay-at-home mom, while Milo serves as a Master Sargeant in the US Army. Their eldest, Sophia, is a sophomore in high school. She is a budding artist who loves photography as well as painting. She likes nature and especially loves the ocean. Melanie is in fifth grade this year. She is a quiet child, who likes to write stories. Hannah, 9, is in third grade. She has a talent for drawing, like her older sister. She also likes to spend time with her friends, and she is the most outgoing of her sisters. Cailee is an adorable seven year old. She is a free sprited little girl who doesn't have a care in the world. She is very attached to her older sisters, and they keep a close eye on her.
Ava and Loren have five children--and a grandchild of their own already. Ava and Loren work together in their very own bookstore. It is a small shop, but well known in their community, and they attract a good amount of business. Katie, their eldest, is seventeen. She is in her senior year of high school. She and her boyfriend of last summer had a rather serious fling, and she ended up getting pregnant. She gave birth to a little girl, Zoey, about three months ago. Ali, 16, is in her sophomore year of high school--same as her cousin Sophia. Ali is a very athletic girl who plays both soccer and lacrosse, depending on the season. Tristan, 14, is a freshman in high school. He has had some difficulty adjusting to the demands of high school, but he's getting there. Tristan is a quiet, geeky sort of kid who is tall and gangly. Carson, 11, is in fifth grade. He is very imaginative and can often be found inventing things. He is very close with his cousins Will, Shawn, and Rowan. The four of them form a rambunctious bunch, and they've gotten into their share of trouble over the years. Caitie, 8, is the youngest of the family. She is eight, and in third grade. She is a bit of a wild child, but can talk herself out of almost any sort of trouble she gets into.
Perry and Jordyn have an active, tight-knit family. Both Perry and Jordyn work in physical therapy. Perry is head physical therapist on a spinal cord injury unit, and Jordyn works as a physical therapist in a large rehabilitation unit. Kylan and Kade are juniors in high school. They are identical twins, which has caused quite a bit of laughs and a bit of trouble through the years. Both boys play on their school's football team. They also enjoy such adventures as rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and BMX biking. Their sister, Quinna, is into figure skating. She loves to be out on the ice, and would like to become a professional ice skater someday. Perry and Jordyn often take the kids camping, hiking, and on other outdoorsy sorts of adventures.
Hazel and Edwin have the largest family out of Wil and Bekah's original five. Hazel is a stay-at-home mother who also works part-time selling cosmetics from home. Edwin is an engneering professor at a local university. He loves his work, and enjoys that he is able to be at home with the kids on some days. Emilee, 12, is in sixth grade. She loves music, and can play the piano, flute, and clarinet passably. Her real passion is the violin. Will, 11, is in fifth grade. He has a lot of energy, and enjoys playing soccer and going swimming, not to mention hanging out with his cousins--particularly Carson, Shawn, and Rowan. Elia, 9, is in fourth grade. She is very smart and spends most of her time reading or experimenting. Maggie, 7, is in first grade. She is a bright child, but prefers playing with dolls to reading books. She is a happy little girl, and she keeps a watchful eye over her three little brothers. Isaac, Dylan, and Joey are the three "littles" of the family. Isaac is five, Dylan, four, and Joey, two. Isaac is in Kindergarten, and he is eating up the knowledge as fast as his teachers can give it to him. Dylan is a rough and tumble child who is always getting into mischief. Joey is a quiet, observant little fellow. He doesn't do a whole lot of talking, but always manages to make his needs known.
Auria and Gabe have a busy family. Auria is a medical transcriptionist. She travels around to various different agencies, helping their medical personnel with dictated reports and transcription. Gabe is a marketing representative for a growing advertising firm. Their triplets, Shawn, Rowan, and Eden, are ten. They are in fourth grade this year. Shawn and Rowan are very alike in personality--wild, carefree, and outgoing. Eden is quieter than her brothers, but has a friendly, gregarious spirit. Kari, 6, is in first grade this year. She is a joyful little girl who is hardly ever in a bad mood.
