Since I was introduced to it as a word, not a name, that would keep me from considering it as a name. If it actually meant "no one gets left behind," it could be namey. But it's just "family" - which includes families where there is drama ... and in my experience that's all of them! I wouldn't want to be middlenamed Ohana because I was supposed to represent a boundary between THAT family and this one. YMMVIt's a pretty word, though, and if I didn't know it was one, I'd think it made a pretty name. Hana is a pretty name, too. I wouldn't be worried about people saying Oh Hannah. You just correct them, and they learn. Tons of names are like that.
