Jack has always been an athletic person. After joining the recreational Rugby team in college, and loving it, Jack knew wanted to continue to play after after he graduated. He found a local team and has been playing (out of college) for 7 years now. Every match had been injury-free until recently, shortly after Zara's birth. Jack and an opposing team member collided, leaving Jack motionless on the ground. He had suffered a concussion, shoulder injury and a broken arm. While he won't be playing Rugby any time soon, he does plan to return for the love of the game. Beth is still on the fence about him playing again, as she and Luke witnessed the collision.
