Partner 1:
Name - Abbey Victoria Sampsom {22}
Career - Primary school teacher
Bio - Abbey grew up in the city with her younger half-sister, Carly (14), and their single mum. Abbey's mum worked hard to keep the flat roof over their heads and because of this Abbey found herself looking after young Carly and herself rather a lot. By looking after her baby sister Abbey didn't get to go out much as a teenager and had few friends outside of school, though inside she was deemed as quite popular. Abbey was never the brightest kid in the class and she didn't try hard because she thought she didn't need too, however when she was 15 she decided that she wanted to work with children and maybe even go to university so booked up her ideas. Abbey likes to smile and laugh, she's still a bit of a kid at heart and loves to hang out with her sister, she loves animals and has a big heart.
Partner 2:
Name - Jack Jonathan Coe-Williams {20}
Career - Student studying social work
Bio - Jack had quite a different upbringing to Abbey, he lived out in the countryside with his large, if not slightly strange, family. Jack was adopted as a baby by two men, Alan and Keith, he was their first adopted child though later when Jack was four they adopted six year old twin girls - Chloe and Madison - giving Jack his first big siblings. Other brothers and sisters Jack grew up alongside were Marshall - now 17, Olivia - now 16, and baby of the family Sydney James - who is now 10. Jack was bullied majorly in school because of his gay parents and the bullying reached a critical point when he was 14 and he tried to commit suicide. After that, things got a lot worse before they got better, with his parents finding out about his self harm and calling the police on the bullies. After that things settled down eventually and Jack started to enjoy his life again, he had one certainty - and that was going to college and university to help other children like him. He is a lovely, kind, family-orientating young man who wants to change the world for the better.
Abbey and Jack's relationship:
Abbey and Jack met when Abbey was 20 and Jack was 18, Jack was starting out at university doing a course in social work while Abbey was in her last year of primary teacher training. They met a fresher's party and talked for the entire night. Four weeks later after meeting regularly nearly every day, they became an official couple and have been together ever since. Their relationship hasn't been smoothed, both have been stressed about Uni exams and that has strained them somewhat, however in the two years they've been together they haven't broken up. They have only just started to say that they love each other because of commitment scares on both sides, however they are happier than they have been for a long time and are confident this relationship will work out. The most significant thing for Jack was when he told Abbey that he had been adopted by a gay couple, and she completely accepted him, this was significant for Abbey too because it solidified the pair's trust in each other. Neither have secrets - unless it's a nice secret - Jack has been known to plan surprise parties and gifts for Abbey. They live in a cosy house near to the university that Jack goes to and the school Abbey works at, Jack's wealthy parents help the young couple out with the rent but Jack is determined to pay his own way as soon as he finishes his course and get a job. Their life is good, they do have a few money worries but apart from that, their families get along, their siblings get along. Things are good.
