Giuliana Farinelli was born and raised in New York City. She is the second youngest of five: Joseph "Joe" (37), Anthony (33), Caterina "Cat" (30), and Nicholas "Nick" (25). Her father, Salvatore, is a successful restaurateur and vineyard owner, owning several authentic Italian restaurants throughout the city and three vineyards in Italy. Giuliana, who learned to cook from a young age, was expected to join the family business but her heart wasn't in it. Giuliana loves fashion and design. Ever since she was little, she dressed herself and put on fashion shows for her family during the holidays. She always loved to draw and paint, sew and stitch. That was her passion. After high school, she attended The Fashion Institute of Technology, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design with a minor in French. Bio: Aaron Hayden was born and raised just outside Leeds, UK. He is the youngest of three children: his older sisters are Jane (35) and Elisabeth (33). His father Edward is a dentist and his mother, Anne, is a primary school teacher. Despite having two older sisters, who used to dress him up and make him play tea with them, Aaron is very much a "boy." He is very athletic and has been playing football since he was a child. He is also very intelligent and graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. After high school, Aaron went on to attend Durham University to study Sport, Exercise and Physical Activity and play for the Men's Football team. It was there Aaron was recognized as a stand-out athlete and, upon graduation, was picked to play for his hometown team: Leeds United AFC. Aaron played for Leeds for five years before playing for his current team, Arsenal FC.

Upon her arrival in London, Giuliana made it a mission to meet new people. She and two co-workers, Elsa and June, who were also new to the UK, would frequently visit pubs and sporting events - pretty much anything - to meet anyone. Plus, working for a high-end fashion label did have its perks. Giuliana and her friends scored Executive Box seats, courtesy of Michael Kors, to a Arsenal FC match. These tickets provided the game and a meet-and-greet with the players afterwards. Single girls meeting (possible) single football players? Yes, please! It was then Giuliana met Aaron. It was a short time but Aaron was smitten with her. Before the girls left, Aaron asked Giuliana for her number and if she would like to go to dinner. Giuliana said yes, and the pair have been dating for two years.
It hasn't been easy for them. Both travel constantly for their jobs and are extremely busy. But, Giuliana tries to make it to as many matches as she can, and Aaron visits Giuliana if she's in Paris or Milan for business - if only for the night/weekend. At the beginning of their relationship, trust was a big issue. Aaron had gained popularity among his female fans who would hit on him if he was out at a pub with his teammates. Giuliana expressed her concern and insecurities but Aaron always seemed to calm her down and make her feel at ease, if only for a moment. Eventually, things got better and Giuliana grew to accept and handle Aaron's "celebrity" status. Last month, Giuliana and Aaron decided to take their relationship to the next level and moved in together. And on their first night in their flat, Aaron proposed to Giuliana. She said yes.
