Ava is a beautiful classic. It is becoming more and more popular, if that bothers you. Lynn is an unimaginitve mn, but family trumps originality when naming, so Ava Lynn is fine.

Have you considered Lynn as a fn? Now there's something unusual. She'd be the only Lynn is her class, that's for sure. Names like Marie, Rose, Anne that are usually religated to the mn position are very fresh, as fns. Or, you could find a fn with a Lynn sound in it:

Evelyn? Aveline? Avila? They have sort of the same sound, but are less common (and Ava Lynn is *way* common) and have a more full, complete feel to them.

I don't think it flows well. Lynn is a bit of a filler name as a mn anyways, and with Ava it sounds like the first name was Avaline/Avalyn or similar. I'd change either name if I were you (or put aother middle name between Ava and Lynn to make it flow better)

Ava is just trendy-blah and sooo tired. Everyone's using it, and the novelty wore off long ago. Dated Lynn only adds to this. Sorry.

Ava Lynn flows very well but it is a bit plain and does seem like the first name is Avalynn or Ava-Lynn instead of the two being FN and MN. :(

It flows, but Ava is popular and Lynn is extremely common as a first name. So the combo Ava Lynn is very popular and rather boring IMO.
