I really like Eva. And Evie. And Evita. And Genevieve. And Evelyn (although I don't pronounce that it like EEV. Oh and Ava too, I suppose. Pity my cousin's baby daughter is named Evie. Boo.
I don't think it's too close to 'evil' at all.
Eva Magdalene is pretty cool. Elizabeth Eva is a bit awkward is a bit awkward though.
Genevieve "Evie", "Eve" is my favourite, but nn Eva could work too if you think Eva by itself is too close to 'evil' (again, totally not).
