Do you mean a sibling of Devon or Ezra?
Devon's younger sister, Faith, needs the transplant - neither their brother Peter nor their parents are a match. Devon is the only one who can donate a kidney, but Devon and Faith have never gotten along very well. Faith used to humiliate him in front of the whole school, tell their parents when he did something wrong, and give him all of her crappy chores. She also doesn't approve of his homosexuality, but she is so desperate she begs him to donate his kidney.
Devon thought about everything she did to make his life as miserable as possible, and decided not to do it. He is still not over the death of Ezra's sister and father, whom he was very close to, and can't get the thought of the surgery going wrong and Ezra losing him out of his mind. When he declines, Faith hits him, but Ezra stops her as quickly as possible and tells her never to return to his and Devon's home again.
Devon & Ezra welcome a second son! Via surrogate? Adoption? Details and age of child are up to you!
Ezra is feeling much better about his sister and father's death - though he is not at all over it - but the children are living with them again and he finds they make him very happy. He wants another child.
So they've decided to adopt a baby this time, scared of losing another surrogate; they adopt a British baby because they wouldn't be able to fly - Devon is terrified of flying. One-month-old Luke was found abandoned by his mother on the doorstep of the orphanage in Cambridge, but he was soon adopted by our happy couple and driven back to their home when all the forms were filled out. He is a happy little ginger baby, and Jenna and Hugo love him - Jenna is very proud of herself being the big sister and Hugo is completely intrigued by the tiny human.
