Mira has loved being a mother to Padma, despite never aspiring to have children. She has taken a step back from her career driven life and while she is still working she has enjoyed just spending time with Padma and her two dogs Phoebe and Rogue. Poor Phoebe has developed arthritis and cannot go for long walks anymore but little Padma loves to take care of her at home and has really formed a good friendship with the dogs. After having Ginny Autumn and Finn got married and Autumn is now officially an Owens. The couple have returned home from India and Finn now works as an English teacher in a local high school and Autumn is a senior zoo keeper. Finn is still trying to work on that novel but has found he has no time with a small child and a full time job! Autumn wanted to have children close together in age so in the past two years they have also had a second child! They found it hard to pick things for Ginny when they didn't find out the gender so this time they found out as early as possible and it was a boy! Because Finn is a school teacher he vetoed a lot of names Autumn suggested because they were the names of naughty kids at school. Having twins is a handful for Alice and Cody! Alice had wanted to return to work but will be a stay-at-home mum for a bit longer now. Lachlan dotes on his younger siblings but because they have each other, Lachlan often feels lonely. Though he has just started school and has friends in class, at home he feels a bit left out sometimes. Cody suggested it might be nice for him to get a pet. Lachlan wanted a puppy at first but Cody said no because that would be too much work in a house full of young kids. Lachlan was happy to settle for a kitten and they picked one up from the animal shelter. Lachlan picked out a tabby female with one eye because he felt sorry for her. He also named her and gave her a silly name that makes people laugh when they first meet the kitten

Rachel has been a qualified nurse for a year now and Everett is also a qualified builder. Because they are finally earning some money, they have moved out of the flat and into a home of their own. Her first name must be uncommon and end in the letter a. Her first middle name must be a nature name to fit with Everetts love for the outdoors and as a second middle name, Rachel wanted to honour the midwife who delivered their daughter as it was a difficult birth. Celia is still full of surprises! She completed her electrician's apprenticeship as Neil finished his engineering degree. Instead of getting straight into work, they have travelled for a few months around the Carribean, and got eloped along the way! Parents Penny and James were pretty shocked, but even more shocked when Celia came home pregnant! They don't want to know the gender so a boy and girl name is needed. The first name will be a very hippy or nature name (something 'out there') and the second name will be Greek.
