Poor Rogue is getting on a bit, though still has his mischievous nature so gets along well with Ursula who is always full of energy and wants to play. Javier has grown into a great little man and has really adopted Ursula as his own. Mira worries that Rogue may be starting to get a bit old and isn't looking forward to him leaving the family as Phoebe's death was rather hard on everybody. Jude and Padma are both loving school and call each other brother and sister, often confusing people by declaring that they are actually twins. As Mira and Rowan are getting older they've decided to stop adopting children and are perfectly content with their little family.

Finn and Alice feel like they have accumulated a small wildlife centre with all the pets they've added to their home, but they wouldn't have it any other way and they love that Ginny and Hugo have shown responsibility in caring for their animals. Finn has released a second book under the name of Emerson Waltz which had even more success than the first book. Celebrations of the books success resulted in another baby on the way! A few months down the track, an ultrasound determined that it was not one but two babies! At first they thought it was two girls but big brother Hugo was convinced he was getting a little brother and right he was when the second baby turned out to be a boy! Their daughter has a very classic first name (though not old-fashioned) and her middle name honours Finn's twin Alice somehow. Their sons first name is strong and masculine like Hugo's and his middle name is animal inspired

Little Sasha is a very quickwitted and smart child. Alice was quite relieved because though still a toddler, Sasha is actually very good at looking after herself and is quite sensible, which gives Alice less to worry about. Though Sasha was meant to be their last child, Alice found herself pregnant again. She was a little wary at first with Cody being delighted, but Cody offered to take the parental leave after their baby was born. Their final child, a son was born last year. Before he was born, his first name Julian was picked out. However once he arrived, Julian seemed far too serious a name for such a cheeky looking boy. They took a whole month to finally decide on his name! His first name suits his cheeky personality and is NOT an old-fashioned name. For his middle name, Alice wanted to honour Cody, but using his real name, Arnold Basil. Because Cody hates his real name, they comprimised and the name will sound loosely similar to either Arnold or Basil but be more current and not fuddy-duddy.

With both Saskia and Jelly in school now, Rachel has become pregnant with another son. Ev wants his first name to be a tough and strong name that begins with either the letter D, T or R. His first middle name is after a courageous and brave patient that Rachel tended to at the hospital where she works as a nurse. His name is a very unusual word name. His second middle name is a common nature name There has been some sad news in the family as Willow has passed away in her old age. She was Ev's best friend and hunting buddy and though he knows he will need a new hunting dog, he won't be looking for one anytime soon as he still missed Willow too much.

The pressures of having kids put a lot of strain on the Caruso family and realising she may have rushed into marriage and children she has left Neil and has taken the kids and temporarily moved back into her parents home. The relationship ending was mutual and the kids still see Neil all the time, though Fox took it the hardest as he is the oldest and has a good relationship with his father. Celia recently found a new place to rent for just herself and the kids. When they moved in, Luna and June discovered a black cat that had been left behind by the previous tenants. Unable to get hold of them, Celia allows the girls to keep the cat so long as they take responsibility for it. They named it after one of their favourite Disney princesses.
