[Opinions] Thomas & Thaddeus
Absolutely in LOVE with the name Thomas right now.
But there's a problem because I am also in love with Thaddeus right now. Thaddeus Henry.
I don't allow repeated letters in my lists very often, (sometimes I make an exception for A and S, but never T before. It's so much red..)
Do you like Thomas or Thaddeus more? Oh, how I love both.
This is paralleling a situation in my life also. :-\

Thomas is so boring. So so boring. Thaddeus is cool and less expected. So I choose Thaddeus. I know a Thaddeus, it really suits him. His brother's name is Immanuel
I think Thomas is a nice enough name, but I personally prefer Thaddeus. Thaddeus you don't really hear or see, especially on little boys, so I'd love to hear and see it in use. Thaddeus Henry is adorable, but Henry Thaddeus would work just as nicely, in case you wanted to use Thomas for a fn instead. That way you could get both names into combos.
I like Thaddeus more, mostly because I find Thomas to be too bland for me.
Thaddeus is more interesting than Thomas,
Ooh, tough one. I love both too. I suppose I like Thomas a tiny bit more. Thaddeus gets points for being all shiny and rare, but Thomas has a quiet strength that I like.
FWIW, I don't think you need to eliminate one. They aren't so similar that you can't keep both.

Both are on my list. I prefer Thaddeus, husband likes Thomas. I'd probably go with Thomas in honor of Thomas Merton
I far prefer Thaddeus to Thomas. Thomas has historically been very overused, and that renders it boring. Thaddeus is not that common, sounds cooler than Thomas, and I think that Thaddeus Stevens gives it a very powerful aura.
They are both really nice names. I would consider making an exception for Ts! Especially since the sounds are different: t versus th.
I prefer Thomas but if you love both and want to choose just one, I think you should go for Thaddeus because it's a little but different and interesting, whereas Thomas is really common.
I prefer Thomas. Never really liked Thaddeus, and the nickname Thad is hideous.
