It’s been five years. What’s happening? Devon and Ezra want to have one more child… and end up with triplets! How? What happens next? Genders your choice.
One of Ezra's friends, Renee, asks him to be a sperm donor for her, since she desperately wants a childe but not a partner. He agrees and they find out she's having triplets, one boy and two girls. They're over the moon and can't wait 'till the birth.
But there were complications during the delivery, and Renee died of too much blood loss, much like what happened to Emma when she gave birth to Hugo.
Ezra is at a loss of what to do. Not only has he lost one of his closest and oldest friends, there are also 3 babies with no home. The social workers at the hospital tell him he doesn't have to take care of them, but he feels like it's his duty to do so and with Devon's consent, they adopt the triplets.
Renee had picked out all the names but one; one of the girls' middle names. Devon and Ezra decide to use her name.
One of your partners gets into a disagreement with a family member. What happens?
Karen, Ezra's mum, disagrees with Ezra's choice of taking the triplets; she tells him she could've adopted them, or they could have found someone else.
Ezra turns his back on his mother for a while, not wanting to talk to her after she said such a hurtful thing; he feels like the children are his responsibility. After all, he helped to create them. Eventually, Karen apologises and offers them some money and says she'd love to babysit them at any time.
