I'm strangely in love with Angeline, which I find so much more restrained and dignified than Angelina. It has a distinct turn-of-the-century patina that warms my insides. What does everyone else think? Does it sound too trendy? For the record, I also love Angelica and quite like Angela (especially as a middle name: Edith Angela, Winifred Angela, Marguerite Angela, etc.).

My favorite combo is Angeline Cora. Such grace!

Ah, I thought I was the only one. Angeline is lovely. Angelina is too princessy.

I don't think Angeline sounds trendy, as the -a ending is more in fashion now. I don't like Angelica or Angela, in fact I don't like any other Angel- names except Angeline.

Angeline is quite pretty and I prefer it over Angela. Your combo of Angeline Cora is nice--graceful and strong. Of your combos with Angela I prefer Winifred Angela.

How do you pronounce this? I have a family member with this name and she is always being called Ange-line or Ange-leen, but her mother wanted the Ange-lynn pronunciation.

Not keen on it really.

I say Ange-leen. Like Ms. Jolie, only no "a".

I like it! The -leen ending is lovely, and I much prefer it to Angelina.

I am very fond of Angeline, probably because it's the name of an old friend. Her full name is Angeline Gabriel.

I dislike Angela though and Angelina is a bit too frilly. I like Angeline Cora. Angeline definitely needs something grounded.

I like Angeline okay. I prefer Angelina but that is so bogged down with Angelina Jolie. Angelica is all Rugrats to me and Angela seems very pedestrian. Angeline Cora isn't too bad. :)

I'm with you. Angeline has much more going for it than Angelina, imo. It's more calm and sedate, less showy without being mundane. Angelica will always remind me of "Rugrats," I'm afraid, although I do like Angela. Re: your combos, I love Marguerite Angela and Angeline Cora (so pretty!).
