[Opinions] Jacoby
So if anyone noticed my response in the big long "Chris issue" I was trying to explain how I came across my first son's name and I started thinking. When I first found out I was having my second baby I had the same experience of having a name that I had never considered fall into my heart but I let others talk me out of it.
The only other Jacoby I have seen is a football player, but when I do hear his name I still kind of feel the itch to use it. I had plans on naming him Jacoby and calling him Coby for short which I think would have taken the weird factor down a little bit or even Jake. The name is so nms but again it just came to me and felt right. Being that Jacob is currently so popular maybe this would be a good alternative.
Wdyt? What would you pair it with? Do you prefer it spelled with Jacoby or Jacobi?
Jacoby Bennett
Jacoby Christian
Jacoby Daniel
Jacoby Dean
Jacoby Isaac
Jacoby Leo
Jacoby Lionel
Jacoby Marcell
Jacoby Miles
Jacoby Nicholas
Jacoby Nasir
Jacoby Preston
Jacoby Quentin
Jacoby Randall
Jacoby Shane
Jacoby Sincere
Jacoby Troy
Jacoby Tyler
Jacoby Tate
Some of these combos I was really stretching for, but my favs or ones that have special meaning would be
Jacoby Tate, Jacoby Troy, Jacoby Tyler, Jacoby Nasir, Jacoby Marcell, Jacoby Lionel

I think Jacoby is a strong handsome name, I like it a lot. I do think Jake isn't an obvious nickname as I prn it jə-KO-bee (Jac/Jack would be more obvious). But don't let that stop you. If your heart says yes go for it! My sister named my nephew Ivo and at first I thought it was an awful name but I've grown to love it. So will people around you if they don't like the name initially grow to love Jacoby. Don't worry about it, it's your choice. If you are happy about it that is all that matters.
My favourite combo would be Jacoby Tate ♥

Don't like it, sorry. It's all surname to me, plus it looks like a weird nn for Jacob.
I really like Jacoby, I think it's great. and Coby is a cool nn. It is a little different but it's not obviously teasable and it has nn options.
Jacoby Miles is my favourite and of your special meaning ones I would pick Jacoby Tyler

I love Jacoby! And I'm a Jacoby Jones fan as well! My combo is Jacoby Charles. From your list I like Jacoby Miles.
I'd prefer Jacoby over Jacobi. I'm wondering how you're saying it, since I'd assume Jacoby is JAK-o-bee or maybe even ja-KO-bee, but Jacobi looks like JAK-o-bie to me.
Out of your combos I like Jacoby Miles and Jacoby Quentin most. Jacoby Sincere is pretty bad...
Out of your special meaning ones, I like Jacoby Tate best, because it flows best,

Def pronounced Ja- ko- bee. Think Kobe Bryant with a Ja in the front
