Year 1: One night Iris and Hal were woken by a strange wailing sound coming from downstairs. When they came to investigate they found a scrawny kitten that had made its way through an open window in the kitchen and was moaning to be fed. After giving him some food and water the kitten made himself comfortable on the sofa, and he hasn't decided to leave yet. Iris and Hal were happy to keep him and named him David.
Year 2: Unfortunately, Iris was made redundant from her job.
Year 3: Still yet to find a secure job in her field, Iris decided to plan a month long trek through the Amazon rainforest for her and Hal. They went, it was hard going and they never thought a feather bed or warm shower could be missed so much, but they saw some amazing things and made a lot of great memories.
Year 4: After a series of short contract positions Iris decided to go back to university to study for a PhD.
Year 5: In they're fifth year of marriage Iris and Hal found out they were expecting. It wasn't planned as they're not in the best position financially with Iris back at uni and all, but none the less they're over the moon. They welcomed their baby boy Gregor Benedict Kaspersen. He has bright green eyes like his mum and red wavy hair like Hal's mother.
Year 6: Only a year after Gregor was born they found out they were pregnant once more but this time with twin boys! It's going to be tough with three babies in the house but Iris and Hal think they're up for it. Sadly, Iris has had to postpone her studies for the time being. They welcomed their fraternal twins, Abram Oskar, with straight blonde hair and green eyes, and Thomas Vincent, who has wavy blonde hair and blue eyes.
Year 7: Hal decided to take the family to visit his parents in Norway for Christmas.
Year 8: David has never really gotten along with the children. They try to stroke and manhandle him while he tries to avoid them at all costs. So much so that he's taken to sleeping in Iris and Hal's room all day and only coming out when the kids are in bed. So when Iris brought home another cat Hal wasn't too sure if it would get along with the kids or David. The complete opposite, Taika (the cat's name) lets the children fuss over her and is patient with them and David has found a new snoozing buddy.
Year 9: With three young boys Iris had been feel kind of overwhelmed and outnumbered. Both her and Hal decided they really wanted a little girl and so decided to try in the hopes that they get their wish. Luckily enough they welcomed a baby girl, Rosa Isabelle, with straight red hair and deep brown eyes.
Year 10: A few months after Rosa's birth Iris realised she was pregnant again! Baby Kai Joseph was born with wavy blonde hair and green eyes. He is Iris and Hal's last child.
