Year1: Mal is tasked, along with his siblings, to organise a brilliant birthday party for his dad's 60th. It is eight months in the making but eventually the plans are made and his dad is thoroughly surprised and thrilled at what his sons have done for him. Mal and Jaz have an epic night and the whole family enjoy themselves.

Year3: Jazz is upset to learn that her Aunt Georgia has passed away in her sleep at the age of 70.

Year4: Mal takes Jazz to Moscow for her birthday, there they visit it's grand theme park, which she is very pleased about.

Year5: Yearning a new challenge, Mal decides to "transfer departments" and write a spooky, ghost novel rather that his usual adult crime fiction.

Year6: Asian Russia is affected by a 7.8 magnitude Earthquake that devastates areas around the epicentre - which is just off the mid-eastern coast - and is felt throughout the country. Luckily Mal and Jazz don't live too close to the epicentre but they still felt the effects.

Year7: Knowing how much she loved the first trip, Mal takes Jazz back to Mascow's theme park.

Year8: Jazz would love to start a family but her and Mal are finding it a bit difficult, seeking cheap fertility treatments, Jazz begins a trial of pills and soon is pregnant... With triplets! The children are delivered by C-section at 35 weeks and are mercifully all healthy. GirlA has straight red hair and blue eyes, GirlB has straight black hair and hazel eyes, while BoyA has curly red hair and hazel eyes. Mal and Jazz name their babies; Natasha Rebekah, Liliana Zenia and Henry Tobias Tyson.

Year9: A tornado courses through mainland Russia expectantly. Mal is injured in the natural disaster, but it is only a fractured leg, Jazz and the babies thankfully managed to get to safety in time. Their house was partially destroyed however.

Year10: Jazz conceives a child without medical assistance! Their little miracle is a girl with curly blonde hair and brown eyes; her name is Erika Viktoria Tyson.

Year11: After partial success with his ghost novel, Mal feels like he needs a new challenge to turn his hand to, another "transfer of departments" sees him writing columns for the local newspaper.

Year12: With journalism not going down too well, Mal is struggling to get his confidence back, to support Jazz and the kids he begins working in a library to help subsidise the bills.
