[Opinions] Marjorie
Could this be making a comeback? To me, it does seem rather darling. I could see it on a young child.Do you prefer Margery or Marjory, instead?

Think I prefer MargolaineThe French form of Marjoram. Marjorie reminds me of an old P.E teacher I had at school

Marjolaine?I think you mean Marjolaine :)I agree though, Marjolaine would be nicer in my opinion, but I'm heavily biased!
Marjorie isn't bad though, I like this spelling best out of Marjorie, Marjory and Margery.

I'm not quite on-board there...It's a little much for me. But interesting none-the-less.

I prefer Marjorie the best as far as spelling is considered, but I dont like the name itself . It reminds me of margarine.

I like this, and I think it'd sound cute on a little girl! I like the nns Maisie, Mary, Jorie and Margie. Marjorie definitely is my favourite spelling.

I adore Marjorie! I think I prefer Margery, though. I also really like Marjory.

I love Marjorie! I'd consider using it, but DH doesn't like it. I've loved it ever since I was in 1st grade or so, when a classmate had a little sister named Marjorie who went by Marjie. Soooo cute! Our daughter's name is Margaret and for awhile when I was pregnant with her I wanted her nickname to be Margie, but my husband doesn't like it... I think she could be a Margie some day, but she's very much a Meg. :)Marjorie is my favorite spelling. I love the purple and white in the middle of it. Margery I don't like because it has this red and green thing going on that hurts my "eyes." And Marjory looks awkward.

Marjorie is kind of cute in a really unstylish old-fashioned way. Margie reminds me of Fargo, and while I love that movie, I'm not sure I'd want my child to resemble that character too closely. :)

Nah. Makes me think of margarine. Always has. I can just taste the faux-butter in my mouth when I hear this. I feel the same way about Marge or Margie as a nickname for Margaret. Of the spellings, the best is Marjorie, but they all taste like margarine.

I dislike it. I think of margarine and/or Marge Simpson. If I had to use it, I would use the Marjorie spelling, not Margery.

Maybe... to me this is a plump woman with a red face and a loud voice who can be rather nasty

Are you thinking of Marge Dursley from Harry Potter? :)

You know that is probably where I get the image from, I thought it was familiar..

It's very cute, but in a grandma kind of way. I really can't picture it on a young child and I can't see it making any kind of noticeable comeback.

I see it coming back as a hipster name, not sure if it will make a full comeback. It's along the lines of Hazel to me.I prefer the spelling Margery but it's really nms. It's just - idk - too safe? Too bland? Not sure but I don't like it.
