As someone who has been a fan of My Chemical Romance for many years, the name has a coffee, cigarettes, and a sketchbook vibe for me.
I like it, but it took some warming up to over the years.
I don't know if I'd ever use it, but now that I think about it, it does go rather nicely with Murray (a name that I've had tentatively chosen for a while now).
Gerard Way just uses the nickname "Gee." I probably wouldn't use a nickname. It's only two syllables and most nickname possibilities I can come up with sound stupid.
