[Opinions] Gavin
I just posted this name in the polls and got a good response to it. I wanted to get some feedback on it, so a few questions;Do you think Gavin works on all ages?
Do you like it?
What images come to mind?
How would you feel if you met a baby Gavin?

Definitely works for all ages. Whether it tends to occur among all age groups is another question. The youngest Gavin I know is mid-30s I think,I like it very much. Gives off an energetic, friendly vibe.Images, eh? Knights of the Round Table, Welsh rugby players, butterfly-stroke swimmers, medical practitioners, accountants!I'd be fascinated and delighted.

Do you think Gavin works on all ages? Yes.
Do you like it? I love it and would use it for a son. I've liked it since I first became familiar with it when I was around 12 or 13 years old.
What images come to mind? King Arthur and knights. Also, a forest.
How would you feel if you met a baby Gavin? I'd like the baby's name, so I'd be happy if I met a baby Gavin. I just wouldn't want to meet too many of them in case I name my son Gavin, though. I wouldn't want his name to be too popular.

- I think it is a name that ages well, it's actually hardest for me to picture on someone in their middle years, but i don't think it would be unserviceable.Do you like it?
- I find it a bit weak right now, though it's a nice name that sometimes is on my list. It's nice that it's got more history, but it does work with what's on trend today. What images come to mind?
- It feels papery. How would you feel if you met a baby Gavin?
- I would be pleasantly surprised... though having just checked popularity data I don't think it ought to surprise me.

Yes, it's perfect for all ages. It's adorable for a little boy, and demands respect as a man. Cousin Gavin, Uncle Gavin, Grandpa Gavin, they all sound great!I really like it! It's strong, yet as a certain gentle quality to it. It's charming, and but if put on the spot, could be quite intimidating! It reminds me of Gawain, so the image of a gallant, noble Knight of the Round Table on horseback is the image I initially get. The second image is a tan, calloused, hard working cattle rancher coming in from work and bouncing his young son on his knee. I'm not quite sure why.Well, I love babies, so I'd love meeting one with any name (hearty laughter). But, if I met one named Gavin, I'd probably tell the parents it was a wonderful name. Because, seriously, it is.

Yes, it works on all ages.I used to like it a lot more than I do now.Brown. Wet green moss. Mud. Soil. A guitar.I'd feel awkward because I don't like babies. The name is forgettable so I'd gloss over it if I heard it.
