[Opinions] Oz
So Im watching the movie Oz the Great and Powerful and the leading man is
Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkel Emmannuel Ambroise Diggs
Its certainly a mouthful and a little outlandish but I quite like the nn Oz.
It sounds cool, The Wizard of Oz is an old favorite of mine, I like that it is only two letters, Ozzy warms it up and makes a little playful.
So Im kind of crushing on it right now but what first names could u use that Oz would work as nn?
Obviously Oscar as mentioned above, or also as above you could choose a fn beginning with "O" and mn beginning with "Z" n stretch the initials to a nn.
Im stumped for fn options but I could pull some initial combos,Owen Zander

A few more: Osric, Oswin, Osred, Osbert - all early kings of Northumbria, I think
Osian - which is Welsh and pronounced OSH an, but Oz could work for it, imo.
Ozymandias!
& Austin cuts down quite naturally to Oz, too.

I think any name starting with Os- would be fine as a full name for the nickname Oz. I don't think names that do not start with Os- or Oz- work for "Oz", regardless of the middle name. Only maybe Otis could get away with it. I wouldn't use Osborn because it's way too Ozzy Osbourne with the nn Oz. Having said all that: Oscar Zeus "Oz" would be awesome :)
From your realistic list, only Osmond would work. I can't stand Zachery though, but then again, Osmond doesn't require a Z mn for "Oz". If you like Orion, Zion and Z mns maybe Osmond Zorion would work for you.

Personally, I don't think you necessarily need the exact letters in either name, you just need the sounds or, if you aren't picky, similar sounds you don't mind tweaking for a nickname. Sound-wise, I think "Oz" works outright for these...Oswin
Oswald
Cosmo
Alonzo
Alphonso
SocratesThese are more of a stretch since they require tweaking vowels and/or hardening "s" sounds...Lorenzo
Boniface
Nicholas
Ambrose
OziasThat was fun. :)ETA: Your Osmond Zachary is rather handsome. :)

Thanks! Very creative, thats what I was having trouble with was the "tweaking". I really like Cosmo n could see Oz being a great, original nn for it.
I really like the name Lorenzo in general but I couldnt stretch it to Oz. I like Zo as a nn for Lorenzo instead
