I speak Dutch, so Johanneke is familiar to me. I don't like it, though.
It seems old-fashined and too dated. Also, it means 'little Johanna', which makes it a bit silly to me. I'd prefer Johanna.° We are but older children dear, who fret to find our bedtime near ° Lewis Carroll
