I think people are wary of this name because it is quite unique and a little out there for some people. Personally it is not my style, but I will say that it is a very pretty name. I do not think that calling other peoples' taste in 'dull plain names' is right if you want others to respect the type of names you like. Everyone has there own personal taste in names and have there own ideas of what is a beautiful name.
