[Opinions] Julia or Victoria ??
If you had to choose between the two then which would you choose? And why (if you have the time)? Thanks!

Victori! Definitely. It's so elegant, feminine, and beautiful:) I love the name! There's nothing I don't like about Julia, it's just very...dowdy, and boring I suppose. Victoria seems so regal compared to Julia...
Both are very nice, but Victoria's more interesting.
Julia
I think Julia has a more friendly and approachable sound than Victoria. Her potential nickname options are also more appealing to me than Victoria's.

I do like Julia but I love Victoria and find it quite a lot preferable to Julia. It sounds more elegant and more sophisticated than Julia, it's more regal, and also it has a historical connection with the Queen that Julia doesn't have. It's stronger than Julia, yet it doesn't sacrifice a bit of its femininity to be strong, it's just as feminine as Julia but with much more strength.
This doesn't so much apply any longer perhaps, but I know that when I named my daughter Victoria in 1982, I never considered Julia and wouldn't have because Julia's French form, Julie, was a fairly popular name in my generation and I wouldn't have wanted to use a name that was popular in my generation. There's little difference between Julia and Julie. That would have been one reason, but even that aside, I'd find Victoria better.

Julia.
Victoria always just sounds unappealing to me. Julia is much more pretty and classic. It sounds classy.

I respect Victoria but I just don't find it to be attractive. It's one of those names that it seems like I should like, but I can't get into it.
I think Julia is super pretty and elegant. It's definitely my choice between the two.

I really like both, it's a hard choice!
I think I'll vote for Victoria today, only because it's a family name and I don't like the way Julia sounds in spanish.
Can't go wrong though. :)

I am not a big fan of either name, but I would probably go with Victoria. My mum's name is Vickie, so that would be my reasoning behind using the name.
Victoria. I think it's a lovely name with a certain timeless quality. Has a dignified feel. However, she would not be called Vickie or Tori. I don't like those nicknames at all. She would be called Victoria, not by any nickname. :P
I've never liked Julia all that much, though there is nothing wrong with it as a name. I like Juliana better.

Definitely Julia. I've never liked Victoria and I hate Vicky. I think it's because of the "ick" sound
