Of the 4, I'm least attached to the Viola. Have considered Azalea, Zalea (contrived), Vivian, Zada. I like Olivia, but my son's name is Oliver. I like the sound of Zahara, but again, obscure, although I wouldn't let Angelina whoever influence me.

All of these names have something to do with nature, so some other names (with meaning involving nature, flowers, earth, etc.) that I think you'll like are:

Lina (Lena would be nice, too)
Ayla
Heather
Terra (Terri is a nice spin-off)
Fleur
Clover
Lavender
Zinnia (Zinny for short)

I'd say go with these, I DEFINETLY like them the best of your previous combos. I love Hazel, Viola, and Sage. Isis is fine, I do think it sounds nice as a mn for Hazel. Another option if you are not as fond of Viola would be to go with Vivian Sage, which I also think is great, or Sage Viola. Oh no wait... Hazel and Sage would seem herby-themed... Ah well, I liked it before that.

I love the name Oliver! Oliver, Hazel, and Viola make such a nice sib set!

I think Hazel Isis (common name + uncommon mn = very nice). I like the sound of Viola - the instrument is beautiful but it just reminds me of a book I read as a child called Miss. Viola or something about an evil teacher with a crocodile head that ate children (I think - the book traumatized me, lol).

I like: Hazel Isis and Vivian Sage (prefer sp. Vivienne, but this name is gorgeous no matter what!), Azalea Sage would be better than Zalea Sage but having two plants together is sort of funny and makes it sound like she's a new breed of flower or something.

thanks. This is a silly question, but is there a difference in pronunciation between Vivian and Vivienne? I agree with you about plants together. Maybe I could move Sage to the first name and find another "goddess" middle name. Hazel and Sage as twin sisters kinda makes sense to me.

I think it's a very subtle pro. difference, like I'd say Vivian "viv-ee-uhn" and Vivienne would be "viv-ee-ehn"... it doesn't stand out too much. :)

That'd be a better idea I think. Hazel Isis and Sage...
