[Opinions] Twin names
What would you choose? And why?
Boys
Hudson Allen and Heath James
Denver Allen and Dakota James
Colton Allen and Connor JamesGirls
Audrey Celeste and Abigail Hope
Sophia Grace and Sadie Faith
Alexis Nicole and Alyssa Celeste( most of these were actually on my list when I found out I was having twins. To be honest, I don't think I like very many of them anymore! I just wanted to see your opinions of them.)

I really don't like matchy-matchy twin names. My favorites here are Hudson Allen and Heath James. They have more substance than the other two boy sets. Denver and Dakota is way too, redneck? Patriotic? Colton has always been a sort of redneck name to me as well which is why I disqualified that set as well. Of the girls I like Sophia and Sadie but their middle names are sooo filler. If I had my choice to mix and match I'd have Sophia Grace and Audrey Celeste.

To be honest I'm not a big fan of any of the pairs together. I don't too much mind twins with names that begin with the same letter, but it does turn me off a bit. I suppose I'd pick Hudson Allen and Heath James and Sophia Grace and Sadie Faith. If I could mix and match though, my favorite pairs would be Connor James and Heath Allen and Abigail Hope and Sadie Grace.I don't suppose we get to know what your twins are actually named? :) I like this idea though... makes me want to post about the names we were considering for our kids but didn't end up using!

You should post about your "almost names"! And if you still like them or not!

Of all the lucky people!Twins! Of all the lucky people! :D
If you don't like these names very much anymore, have you thought of any new pairings? :)Out of the boys, I only really like Colton and Conner. Maybe because I'm irrationally fond of the name Chol. Somehow, the other names don't appeal to me at all...For the girls, the only names I'm okay-ish on are Audrey and Alyssa. I don't seem to like much the same names as you.
My own twins would be Lysander Jay (Sander) and Luka Mihai for boys
And
Indigo Rose and Aislinn June
At the moment. I love to play with names for twins ^_^

Sorry...I suppose I should have been more clear in my original posting. My twins are 4 now, I was just wondering what people thought of the names I had thought about! Lol. Sorry about the confusion...
So no, I haven't really thought of new pairings. I don't think I want another set of twins, mine are wonderful and amazing but I don't think I want to go through 8 weeks of bed rest and 3 weeks in the hospital pre-babies again:) one of those out of sight, out of. Ind...or however you say it. If I don't think about it, hopefully it won't happen again! Haha!

Ohh…
Ha.
Sorry!
I got the wrong end of the stick (again). It's a good thing you didn't chose those names if you don't like them now :)

Hmmm the only name from the boys list that I remotely like is Hudson, though Heath is fine it does nothing for me at all. Audrey Celeste and Abigail Hope are definitely my favorite from the girls list

Thanks for response:) yeah, to be honest, now I really don't like the name Heath at all. I am not sure why it appealed to me 5 years ago :)
But I do have to say, I still love Audrey and Abigail:) we agree on that!

Congratulations! :)Not really my style, but there are some gems in there! Boys:Hudson Allan and Heath JamesI like this best because Heath is a great name, and I love the name James. Hudson isn't to my taste, but I don't hate it. My personal choice would be Denver Allan and Heath James; I love Denver!Girls:Audrey Celeste and Abigail HopeAudrey is one of my favourites, and Aude or Audy make great nicknames! I wouldn't personally go for Abigail, but I do think it's a nice name, and I like Abby or Gail as nns. I love the name Hope for a girl, it's very sweet. xx

Thanks! All the middle names I had were honoring mn. What's funny is that now, 5 yrs later, I don't like Heath at all, yet I still like Hudson. How odd the way our tastes seem to change sometimes!
And I still love Audrey and Abigail:)
And Hope was my Grandmas mn, I always loved it and wanted a girl to name after her:) maybe someday!

Hudson and Heath sounds like a wilderness supply shop.
Denver and Dakota is not appealing to me. I dont like that they would have places as a theme for their names.
Colton and Connor are my pics however I dont care for them either. These names are really over used. Their would be more than one of them in the class for sure. Also I would flip the mns.
Colton James and Connor Allen.Sophia and Sadie, too cutesy and I bet there are numerous pet cats with these names.
Alexis and Alyssa, nice enough names but too similar. It would be a tongue twister especially if the traditional nn were used. Lexi and Lissy
So I would choose Audrey and Abigail. Although I strongly dislike Audrey, I have always thought Abigail was nice and I think they sound nice together.
Audrey Celeste and Abigail Hope

Ha! Thanks for the comments, they made me smile:) although the wilderness supply shop would probably have overjoyed my hubby. He is definitely an avid outdoorsman and probably would have thought that was the coolest thing ever.

If I can mix things up, I'd pick Hudson Allen and Dakota James for boys. I'd choose Audrey Celeste and Abigail Hope for girls.

Thanks:) I love Audrey and Abigail, still, even after 5 years of picking them out...

Hudson Allen and Heath James, and Audrey Celeste and Abigail Hope. Though if it was me, I'd rather flip them around - to Allen Hudson and James Heath and Celeste Audrey and Hope Abigail!

:) I loved Abigail and Audrey, so that definitely would have probably been what I'd have named my twins if they were girls.
My hubby loved Hudson but not Heath, and I loved both. Now though, I don't care for Heath and I'm glad now I picked something else:)

I much prefer your middle names
James & Allen
Hope & GraceAbigail is the best of your first names, though I don't care much for it or the nn Abbie. What if you have a boy & girl?
James & Hope

That would have been cool, James is honoring my hubby's grandpa and Hope my grandma. But I had identical twin boys, so it wouldn't have worked:) but it is a cute set!

James and Hope is so cute! :)

I don't like any of the boys names at all, and Denver and Dakota sounds like a corny cowboy theme.
I like Alexis and Alyssa, but Alyssa Celeste sounds terrible.Sophia Grace is okay, but so damn predictable. Sadie is ugly and sounds silly with Faith, and to me it seems that middle names Grace and Faith are also very predictable in twin sets. How about Alexis and Abigail?

That's really cute:) I do like Alyssa and Abigail too.
But, hopefully my twin days are over... mine are almost 5 and I'm so thankful for them, but not desiring another set.:)

For twin boys, I like Hudson Allen and Heath James. I really like the name Hudson. I'm not a big fan of Heath, but I find Denver and Dakota to be very corny, and I think Colton is a bit too trendy. For twin girls, I think I'll have to go with Audrey Celeste and Abigail Hope. Those are both beautiful names! I slightly prefer Sophia and Sadie as first names, but I thought the "Grace" and "Faith" thing was too corny and I love the name Celeste.

I really like Hudson too:) not so much Heath anymore though...
And I still love Audrey and Abigail. :)
I love Celeste too, it's my sisters middle name.

I like Hudson but really really dislike Heath, so I guess that pair is out. Also, I'd swap middles to Hudson James and Heath Allen to avoid a combo with both names ending in -n. Colton Allen and Connor James feel like I'd get their names mixed up too much. I know they are all alliteration, but these seem more tongue-twister-y than the other pairs. Also, I'd swap middles again to Colton James and Connor Allen. Same reason as above. So I guess my pick is Denver Allen and Dakota James. I kinda like Denver (we considered Denver Andreas for our second) and am indifferent to Dakota. So that's the winner!Alexis and Alyssa are out immediately, as they are just way too close in sound. Also, Alyssa Celeste has a LOT of S sounds! I would choose Sophia Grace ad Sadie Faith, because I like the names Sophia and Sadie. I'd be really sad about the matchy middle names though. :) And how 'ordinary' Sophia Grace sounds.

Yeah, now, I really like Hudson but not Heath. I'm glad that wasn't our pick! Lol.
If I had twin girls now, it probably would be Audrey and Abigail. But my hubby would probably rather for Sophia and Sadie...and in that case, I definitely would switch the middle names. I do t care for Faith as a name, I love Grace, but Hope would be honoring my grandma, and I wouldn't want one to have an honoring mn and not the other. So, if it happened again, ( I hope and pray not... I'd love a girl but don't think I want to go thru twins again) haha... It would probably be something more like Sophia Leigh and Sadie Lousia, bc both of those mn are versions of my mom and mils middle names...
