Dashiell is one of my guilty pleasures! I really love how it sounds, with the harder beginning sound then the soft ending. I like Dash as a nickname, don't mind the Pixar Incredibles connection - fun for a kid - and like that it has a literary connection for an adult. Great name! I only would worry from some reactions I've had when I've talked to others/polled them that some people would think it sounds weak - maybe because it ends in "ell"? Hopefully with the variety of names being used for boys and girls now, and an influx of more "sensitive/softer" names being used for boys (think Owen, Elliott, Avery, Jasper,etc.) that a Dashiell wouldn't have too much trouble. :)

Rosie Adele is cute. I agree with some others that I wouldn't use Rosie as a full fn because I'd want it as a nn instead, but it's a nice combo and a good way to leave a little bit of herself with her daughter, too.

Rosie Adele is cute, but I agree with New_Chloe Rose Adele would have been prettier.
Dashiell is strange. I recently heard it out loud for the first time, and I hadn't realized the i was silent (?) Sounded like Dashell / Dashull when I was expecting Dash-eel or Dash-i-el. I sort of like it, although it's not my style it is interesting.

I love love love that mom's name was used in the middle. Rose Adele would have been amazingly gorgeous and perfect - Rosie Adele is cute, but not as flawless as Rose Adele. Still, nice name!

Dashiell makes me think of race cars. It's pretty cheesy and fun. I'm surprised I don't like it more!

At first I didn't like Dashiell at all, but it has grown on me over the years. I still wouldn't use it and it still isn't a fave of mine, but I don't hate it.

Dashiell is NMS, but it's a nice name. Very dignified.
